I am a technology enthusiast with a keen interest in the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, particularly in the deep technical integration of large language models (LLMs) within decision-making processes. I earned my Ph.D. in Statistics from Justus-Liebig-University Gießen in 2022. During my doctoral studies, I was employed full-time at the ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research as a Researcher and Data Scientist, where I focused on policy projects related to industry dynamics and innovation, as well as developing economic indicators from unstructured data using state-of-the-art transformer models.

In my non-academic career, I have had the privilege of working with some of the most reputable companies in the Insurance and Finance industry, including the world's largest reinsurer MunichRe, BMW Financial Services, the German Federal Reserve Bank, and TeamBank AG, a subsidiary of DZ Bank. These roles have provided me with extensive experience in risk management, model development, and data-driven decision-making.

For example, at BMW, I led the project for the ML-based development and global rollout of residual value prognosis models, which are crucial for pricing lease rates. Additionally, I played a key role in adopting Generative AI within the risk community, delivering a RAG-based proof of concept to communicate with guidelines across various risk departments.

Currently, I serve as a Data Analytics Consultant in the Digital Solutions unit at MunichRe, where I aim at leveraging my expertise in the deep technical integration of LLMs to automate the data journey of MunichRe's innovative data-pooling platform IMPROVEX.

I am always eager to apply my skills and experience to new projects, contributing to the success of my team and organization. Feel free to reach out to me via email or connect with me on X.
